  19/10/22 : Hurghada - Cairo Woke up early  to morning Sun and went for a walk on the beach.  Lovely Beach resort but cannot enjoy it as we had to have early breakfast and then check out.   Hurghada has developed from a small fishing village into Egypt's most popular seaside resort. It has superb beaches, great diving, and is a good choice for those who want to relax.  Since the city is located next to the Red Sea , it attracts numerous tourists each year. Tourists come here to relax on the beaches, swim, snorkel, and scuba. The most famous resort on in the city is the resort of Hurghada, although there are nearly hundred hotels along the shoreline. Bus was waiting for us, locked in our luggage and drove off  along the road next to Red Sea,  to the boating ramp.  We all took off on the Sport boat to the Red sea for Snorkeling & Diving. 19/10/22 : Cairo - Mumbai

  19/10/22 : Cairo - Mumbai We stayed overnight in this hotel and morning after breakfast, we packed off our luggage.  It was now time to say goodbye to each other.  We were taken to Cairo airport, where Amol our Tour Guide gave us instructions how to check in our luggage, emigrations etc. and all of us came through with flying colours.  Smoothly we got into the flight and took off to Mumbai.  We flew through Egypt Air who served us dinner as well as breakfast.   20/10/22 : Mumbai  In Mumbai airport we had to walk quite a distance to reach emigration and then collect our luggage and go through our luggage.  We had nothing to declare except our two bottles of  Scotch, which was permissible and we walked out to Kaali - Peeli taxi and reach our home sweet home early 3 a.m. We had a lovely holidays, organised well by Veena World and our Travel Guide Amol Salgar, who was there for  all of us, taking care.  Even our Guide in Egypt, M...

17/10/22 : LUXOR VALLEY OF KINGS / TEMPLE OF HATSHEPSUT - HURGHADA

17/10/22 : Valley of Kings / Temple of Hatshepsut Total we disembarked the cruise at Luxor.  Bus was waiting for us to take us to the Valley of Kings, ancient burial ground of many Egypt New Kingdom rulers.  Since they found tombs inside Pyramid was vandalised in Cairo, they planned to bury  their Pharoahs in the tombs carved inside the Hills.      The Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, is a valley in Egypt where, for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, rock-cut tombs were excavated for the pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.   EGYPT TRIP : 11/10/22 - 19/11/22 11/10/22 : MUMBAI TO CAIRO : At the airport we were met by our Tour Manager, Mr. Amol Salgar who guided us well to land in Cairo airport. We were welcomed by Golden Selkit Goddess, of peace and prosperity.  She use to welcome Kings and Queens in ancient time and now all visitors at the airport.  We were collected 40 of us after freshening up, were taken in a bus to Raddison Blu for a nice breakfast.  We  were taken to old World Famous Eygptian Museum of King Khafre where we got to see the artifacts of statues,  sacrophages and mummies.  Most of articles have been to shifted to new Museum where all the mummies have been shifted. Most prominent  artificats were found on a seperate floor occupied by Young boy king Pharoah Tutankamen was all his clothes, articles and sarcophagus were in gold and precious stones like emerald, rubies, lapis zuli etc.  His tomb was not robbed or pillaged and we got to see intact a...
